Course overview
This first module is an introduction, and will provide with with an understanding of the key milestones in AI long history (which started in the 1940s- 1950s), as well as of seleced key concepts: machine learning approaches, backpropagations, etc. It will also allow you to explore some of AI applications in various fields of human activitiy, and finally -last but not least- some key considerations that have to be kept in everybody's minds before rolling our AI in any organisation.
This introduction course will equip you with the necessary knowledge to navigate further learning materials, more specifically looking into the applications or AI in sustainable finance.

ABOUT ROMAIN
Romain Leroy-Castillo leads the Education Platform and the Asset Owner platform at SSF, as well as various projects in relation to Artificial Intelligence, carbon markets, and more. Before joining SSF, Romain was consultant for private banks and assets managers in Luxembourg for 10 years, and Managing Director at Credit Suisse, responsible among others for internal audit of asset management and sustainable investing globally. He intervenes as lecturer in different organizations on the topics of sustainability and artificial intelligence.
